The Center for Third World Organizing and Mujeres Unidas y Activas is having a training this weekend on community organizing for and with Latinas. The cost is $50 but there is a 15% discount for anyone who brings a buddy (2 or more enrolled together). It is an important institute for people who want to get involved in organizing their communities for change or who want to be more effected at the organizing they are already doing. (They do things in English and Spanish, so if you don’t speak Spanish don’t worry, you can still get involved in the amazing stuff they are working on.)
