May Day 2009

In Solidarity with workers and immigrants everywhere:

Ps. This year, I got my students to participate in May Day events as part of their understanding of feminism and feminist solidarity. I am very proud of all of them who emailed to say they were taking time from studying for their other finals to turn theory into praxis.

When I am back to blogging, I will update on the hunger strike against ICE abuses in detention, the return of an unfairly deported U.S. citizen, and the call to raise awareness about Joe Arpaio’s ongoing targeting of immigrants.
