Support the Dream Act

Hundreds of youth from all over the U.S. are expected to converge on Washington for the National Dream Act Graduation. Students are drawing attention to the fact that each year an estimated 65,000 high school graduates are barred from college based on financial aid restrictions and out-of-state tuition fees for in-state residents based on immigrant status. The Dream Act, which I have posted on many times, would eliminate such restrictions in states that are willing to see immigrant youth as part of N. America’s future.

The Schedule in DC is as follows:

Schedule of National Action:

9AM – Legislative Trainingdream
Location: American Federation of Teachers, 555 New Jersey Ave NW, Washington, DC
12PM Graduation
